SCATE Malaysia dental exhibition and conference

Warmest greetings and welcome to the 30th MDA Scientific Convention and Trade Exhibition (SCATE) 2023!

First and foremost, on behalf of the organising committee of the 30th MDA SCATE 2023, I would like to thank Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Hisham bin Abdullah, Director General of Health, Ministry of Health Malaysia, for taking the time out of his busy schedule to support us and officiate the event.

SCATE is an annual event organised by the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA). It’s great to be able to hold this event physically this year after almost 3 years of hiatus. The 30th edition is very special as the College of Dental Specialists (CODS), Academy of Medicine Malaysia has accepted the invitation to organise the 30th SCATE 2023 together with us. My sincere appreciation to Prof. Emeritus Dato Dr Lian Chin Boon, President of CODS and his council members for their invaluable support and guidance in organising the 30th MDA SCATE 2023 and bringing the event to a greater height.

The scientific programme has already been designed befittingly to help us maintain competency, update and upgrade our knowledge and skills, ensuring the relevancy in our clinical practice. We will also be discussing the responsibilities and obligations of a Person in Charge of a clinic during our forum which revolves around the theme “Person in Charge or Person to be Charged” and it is open to all MDA members in benefit.

Alongside the conference, delegates and registered visitors can find the latest market trends, technologies, and opportunities to explore new business avenues and increase networking opportunities at the largest dental trade exhibition in Malaysia.
