PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Atropos Health, the pioneer in translating real-world clinical data into personalized real-world evidence (RWE), today announced the preprint of a new study detailing a high-throughput, standardized observational evidence-creation workflow capable of generating evidence at a scale previously unattainable in healthcare.
The publication, “High-Throughput Observational Evidence Generation Using Linked Electronic Health Record and Claims Data,” describes how Atropos Health’s proprietary workflow — applied to linked electronic health record (EHR) and administrative claims data produces scalar narrative research-style summaries, each subjected to structured clinical and statistical quality control prior to dissemination.
“Publishing this work is an expression of who we are as a company. We believe that if you are going to generate evidence that influences medical decisions — decisions that affect real patients — you have an obligation to be transparent about your methods, open to scrutiny, and held to the highest standards,” said Dr Saurabh Gombar, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Atropos Health. “This publication invites the scientific community to examine how we work, challenge our assumptions, and build on our findings. That is exactly how medicine should advance — openly, collaboratively, and with the patient always at the center.”
The research addresses a long-standing challenge in observational medicine: the fragmented, outcome-sparse nature of traditional real-world studies, which often differ in design, population definition, and outcome selection — producing inconsistent conclusions that erode confidence among clinicians, payers, and life-science stakeholders.
“By standardizing how clinical questions are posed, broadening what outcomes are reported, and packaging results into comprehensive, multi-stakeholder evidence artifacts, we’re building the next generation of scaled evidence content for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and large language model (LLM) training in healthcare,” said Dr. Brigham Hyde, CEO and Co-Founder of Atropos Health. “Atropos Health’s workflow represents a fundamental shift in how real-world evidence is created and consumed.”
Today’s announcement follows the release of the expanded application of the Atropos Evidence Agent, an expert real-world evidence agent, at Stanford Medicine.
