NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Carda Health, the leader in virtual cardiopulmonary care for Cardiac and Pulmonary disease, announced a partnership with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) to expand access to evidence-based lifestyle medicine and chronic disease care. Carda will work with ACLM year-round to advance at-home cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation through education, research and clinician engagement.

Carda Health delivers cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation virtually, combining one-on-one clinical support, live monitored exercise and real-time vital measurements to help patients receive and complete care from home. The company’s care model is designed to address barriers that commonly prevent patients from participating in traditional rehabilitation, including distance, transportation, work and caregiving responsibilities.

“Healthcare already knows how to treat many chronic conditions. The challenge is making proven care easier to access, complete and sustain,” said Harry DiFrancesco, CEO and Co-Founder of Carda Health. “ACLM has built a community focused on changing how we treat chronic disease. Together, we can bring proven care to more people.”

The partnership includes educational programming, member resources and opportunities to pursue joint research pilots and demonstration projects. Carda also will contribute webinars, podcasts and other educational content to ACLM’s member community.

The first programming begins this fall. On November 4, Carda will host “Rehab Reimagined: Virtual Care’s Impact on Access and Outcomes,” an ACLM-supported webinar featuring Dr. Dean Ornish; Haley Uher, Head of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Carda Health; and Julie Stebbins, Director of Outpatient Cardiology Services at WellStar Health System.

“Cardiovascular and other chronic diseases continue to place an enormous burden on individuals, families and our health care system, making access to effective cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation more important than ever,” said Martin Tull, Chief Impact Officer at ACLM. “Our partnership with Carda Health will help expand virtual access to the Ornish Program, an ACLM Lifestyle Medicine Certified Program, and bring evidence-based lifestyle medicine to more people who can benefit from it. Together, we have an opportunity to extend the reach and impact of intensive lifestyle change.”

Carda also will participate in ACLM’s 2026 Lifestyle Medicine Conference from November 8-11 in Orlando. DiFrancesco and Dr. Ornish will lead the session titled, “Undo It, At Home: How Virtual Care Is Taking Ornish’s Heart Disease Reversal Program to Everyone” on November 9th. It will cover the clinical foundation for intensive cardiac rehabilitation, completion rates, readmissions and cost per patient and will include a walkthrough of an anonymized patient case.

The session builds on a national partnership Carda Health and Ornish Lifestyle Medicine announced earlier this year, which delivers the Medicare-covered Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation program in patients’ homes through Carda’s platform.
