Curative Acquires American Country Insurance Company to Expand Business Opportunities Nationwide

Acquired Company Will Be Renamed “Curative Insurance Company of Illinois” and Will Expedite Curative’s Ability to Offer Its Innovative, No Copay, No Deductible Health Plan in More States and Markets

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Curative Insurance Company, provider of a cutting-edge, no copay, no deductible health plan*, today announced the recent acquisition of American Country Insurance Company (ACIC) by its parent, Curative Health Holdings Inc., as part of the plan to expand its insurance offering to more markets across the country. Curative will rename the entity to Curative Insurance Company of Illinois, fully integrating the acquisition. Curative will now have licenses to sell large-group health insurance in select additional states.

The acquisition will allow Curative to expand into other states more quickly and efficiently (pending additional regulatory approvals).
