Firma DS provides biometrics and clinical data services to biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies, delivering high-quality support across the clinical development lifecycle. The business unit has supported more than 1,000 clinical studies and over 60 New Drug Application (NDA) submissions across complex therapeutic areas including oncology, neurology, rare disease, hepatology, and nephrology.

“This acquisition reflects our continued investment in exceptional clinical data science talent and reinforces our commitment to helping clients bring therapies to patients faster,” said Jin Dai, Chief Executive Officer of Everest. “From our earliest conversations, it was clear that the Firma DS team shares our commitment to high-quality delivery with flexibility, responsiveness and speed. Together, we are expanding our ability to support sponsors with increasingly complex clinical development programs around the world.”

As part of the acquisition, an experienced team of biometrics professionals will join Everest’s global organization, strengthening the company’s delivery capabilities across the US and the Asia-Pacific regions where clinical development activity continues to grow.

“We are delighted to welcome these talented professionals to Everest,” said Rob Woolson, Chief Operating Officer of Everest. “By combining our collective expertise, we can deliver even greater value to sponsors navigating increasingly complex development programs. Throughout the transition, maintaining team continuity and seamless service for Firma DS clients remains our highest priority.”

Existing Firma DS clients will gain access to Everest’s global delivery infrastructure and scale, advanced technology platforms, and full-service clinical development capabilities, including regulatory strategy, clinical operations, clinical trial technologies, medical affairs, patient safety, and medical writing—through a single global CRO partner.

“As clinical development grows more global and complex, sponsors need partners with the scale, expertise, and integrated capabilities to support programs across geographies and regulatory environments,” said Malcolm Little, a partner at Arlington Capital Partners. “This acquisition strengthens Everest’s ability to meet that need and support clients worldwide.”
