AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Quick MD Management, Jared Sheehan, Chris Rovin and Talib Omer, along with Michael Ashley, bring you Skip the Waiting Room: How Telehealth Will Transform Medicine for Patients and Doctors (Fast Company Press, September 3, 2024, $27.95). “A groundbreaking read, Skip the Waiting Room offers a visionary look at how telehealth is changing the healthcare landscape. The authors provide a compelling case for why telemedicine is not just a temporary fix but the future of healthcare.”

—NATHAN CHAPPELL, AI inventor and coauthor of The Generosity Crisis

What if we could see a doctor faster, more efficiently, and at a lower cost? With the emergence of telemedicine, we can now do so. This book is a primer on telemedicine for anyone who wants to take charge of their health and understand all their healthcare options.

Among other topics, it explains:

How telehealth will positively change how providers deliver care

How remote care can expand access to rural and marginalized groups

What types of care are best suited for telehealth and what types are not

Why telehealth is not just for the sick

“We live in a time of great change. And great need. From an aging population to far too many people struggling with substance abuse issues to pandemics, how can we use the transformations brought about by technology to help? How can we think differently to reach people who are farther away from medical facilities? How can we do so faster and more efficiently? This book tackles those questions and shows us how we are already seeing the answers. The revolution is happening. It’s up to us to make it the best it can be—read this book, and help make that happen.”

—DANIEL ARONSON, author of The Value of Values
