The artificial intelligence (AI) powered analytics platform is designed to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that help hospitals and health systems in their efforts to reduce total cost of care, minimize unwarranted variation and make informed product evaluation decisions.
The new platform integrates HealthTrust and Optum data into one platform so healthcare leaders can access a detailed picture of how their system is performing. Instead of sorting through separate clinical, financial and supply chain records, the platform helps enable teams to identify opportunities earlier, understand the mix of utilization and cost, and act quickly and effectively to address them. Crimson AI, powered by HealthTrust, integrates directly with a health system’s electronic health record system and uses more than 1,000 risk adjusted and effectiveness measures across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
