IgniteData and RealTime Announce Partnership to Expand Clinical Trial Data Transfer Capabilities Across Clinical Research Organizations in the U.S. and Key Global Markets

NEW CASTLE, Del. & SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–IgniteData, a leader in intelligent clinical trial data automation, and RealTime eClinical Solutions, a leader in clinical research software solutions, today announced a new partnership which will provide RealTime’s network of clinical research sites with expanded access to IgniteData’s Archer platform to securely and efficiently transfer clinical data.

Archer is the only platform built from the ground up solely to solve for long-standing data transfer challenges and is the only platform compatible with every data collection tool used today by sites and sponsors. IgniteData is engaged at 80% of the National Cancer Institute’s Designated Cancer Centers, including 19 of the top 30 cancer centers in the U.S. The company’s site network spans 4 continents, 6 countries, and 11 international institutions, with a 100% retention rate among its partners.

RealTime works with leading clinical research sites, site networks, academic medical centers, health systems, sponsors, and CROs across the globe, supporting more than 3,000 sites across over 30 countries. RealTime’s comprehensive Site Operations Management System (SOMS) is used by 9 of the 10 largest site networks, 3 of the top 5 CROs, and 3 of the world’s most trusted hospitals.

For research sites supported by RealTime’s electronic source data (eSource) solution, this partnership will allow them to leverage Archer to transfer clinical data of any type from RealTime’s platform directly to the clinical trial sponsor’s electronic data capture (EDC) or other data destination of choice.

This type of singular data transfer can significantly streamline the time spent by research organizations on data acquisition and monitoring, allowing them to shorten study timelines, reduce administrative costs, and enable staff to redirect their time, such as towards patient-focused activities. For trial sponsors, the partnership can help reduce clinical development timelines, allowing them to focus their budget on more meaningful clinical trial activities, while also potentially shortening their runway to commercialization.

“Our partnership with RealTime is a meaningful step forward in our mission to help clinical research sites of all types and in all geographies work with sponsors to advance clinical trial research more quickly and efficiently,” said Laura Hilty, Chief Strategy Officer of IgniteData. “As the only true platform-agnostic technology commercially available today, Archer is playing a unique role in reducing the burden that executing laborious and cumbersome clinical data transfer processes can have on sites and helping to accelerate the pace by which promising discoveries can become new treatments. RealTime is a recognized leader in eSource solutions and this partnership is the most recent illustration of the key relationships we have established with market leaders in the space to help clinical trial sponsors across the globe to get access to better data, faster.”

“Our sites capture data once, electronically, at the source,” said Jeff Kozloff, Chief Executive Officer of RealTime eClinical Solutions. “They shouldn’t have to re-enter it into every sponsor’s EDC. With Archer, data flows from RealTime eSource directly to the sponsor’s system of choice, so coordinators spend less time on transcription and queries and more time with patients.”

Representatives from IgniteData and RealTime will be at the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) Global Site Solutions Summit, taking place October 15–18, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, to demonstrate the partnership’s new joint clinical trial data capabilities and connections. Conference attendees can visit booth 501 to learn more.
