DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Modivcare, a leading provider of non-emergency transportation, personal care services, and monitoring solutions, announced the appointment of Matt Williams as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, effective September 1, 2026.
Williams joins Modivcare’s Executive Leadership Team with nearly 30 years of experience across healthcare, government affairs, communications, and external relations. He most recently served as Vice President, U.S. Government Affairs at McKesson, where he led the company’s government affairs efforts at the federal and state levels.

Throughout his career, Williams has held senior leadership roles at AbbVie, GE Healthcare, and Mercy Health, as well as government affairs roles with Premier, Capitol Associates, and the Georgia Hospital Association. His experience spans federal and state healthcare policy, advocacy, external relations, and reputation management, with a track record of developing strategies that advance business priorities and strengthen relationships with partners.
At Modivcare, Williams will lead the company’s Corporate Affairs function, overseeing Corporate Reputation, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Federal and State Government and Regulatory Affairs, and Public Policy. He will focus on strengthening the company’s standing and deepening stakeholder engagement while bringing greater alignment to how the company communicates and advocates for its business, members, and communities.

Williams holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University and an MBA from Xavier University. He also completed the Hansard Scholars Programme in British Politics and Society at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
