Recognition highlights SafeRide’s expanding role in improving access, performance, and member experience across healthcare transportation
SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AccessToCare—SafeRide Health, a prominent provider of technology-enabled non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services, is ranked No. 14 on the Inc. 2026 Regionals: Southwest list. Determined and distributed by Inc., a leading media brand for entrepreneurs and business leaders shaping the future, the Inc. Regionals list is the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Southwest, including organizations based in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
An extension of the national Inc. 5000 list, the Inc. Regionals offer a data-driven look at the independent businesses powering growth across the Southwest economy during a period marked by ongoing economic pressure and market disruption. SafeRide, which delivers more than one million rides per month across the United States, attributes the growth to increasing demand for its technology- and data-driven services. As plans face increasing pressure to improve outcomes, strengthen experience and manage costs, SafeRide is helping redefine transportation as a critical part of coordinated, high-performing care delivery.
“Medical transportation is essential to accessing life-sustaining care and plays a critical role in healthcare performance, especially in Medicaid and Medicare Advantage,” said Robbins Schrader, co-founder and CEO of SafeRide Health. “As demand grows for more reliable, transparent and member-centered transportation solutions, we’re proud to deliver the infrastructure that helps people get the care they need.”
“The honorees on this year’s Inc. Regionals list achieved exceptional growth at a time when the odds were against them,” said Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “Amid inflation, supply chain disruptions, and ongoing economic uncertainty, they didn’t just persevere. They innovated, adapted, and thrived. Their resilience made them standouts in their industries and true growth engines in their regions.”
