Storyflight Labs Welcomes Hannah Mormer as Vice President of Business Development

PITTSBURGH–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Storyflight Labs, a public benefit corporation supporting people with speech-limiting disabilities and conditions, has named Hannah Mormer as Vice President of Business Development.

The appointment follows the company’s April 2026 launch and comes as Storyflight Labs expands partnerships around its flagship products: Talk to Me, Goose!, a text-to-speech application for people living with ALS and other speech-limiting conditions, and Fable’s Adventures, an audio storytelling platform that enables users to create personalized stories.

Mormer brings experience in healthcare innovation, operations, and patient care. Most recently, she served as Regulatory, Operations & Project Manager at Advanced Optronics, a Carnegie Mellon University spinout medical device startup, where she led regulatory strategy and supported financial planning and fundraising initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Mormer worked as a clinical audiologist and project coordinator focused on hearing technology implementation and pilot programs. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Management & Innovation from Reichman University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Haifa.

“Hannah understands both the clinical realities people face and the role technology can play in restoring connection,” said David Betts, Board Chair of Storyflight Labs. “Her experience and empathy make her a valuable addition to our team.”

In her role, Mormer will lead business development initiatives, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities to expand access to Storyflight Labs’ products and programs.

“Communication is a fundamental part of dignity, identity, and connection,” said Mormer. “I’m excited to help expand Storyflight Labs’ impact through meaningful partnerships and innovation.”
