Virtual Ceremony hosted in Kuala Lumpur on 23 July 2024: The Asia Pacific Dental Industry Association (APDIA) and the Taiwan Dental Traders Association (TDTA) are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to collaboratively host the 2024 APDIA Conference in conjunction with the Taiwan World Dental Show (TWDS). This landmark event is scheduled to take place from 9 to 10 November 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan.
The collaboration aims to promote both local and international business opportunities, drive innovation in the dental industry, foster international partnerships, and provide professional development opportunities for members of both organizations.
APDIA will co-organize and coordinate international elements of the event, including regional meetings, buyer group missions, visits to key dental industry areas in Taiwan, and networking events. In return TDTA will support APDIA’s presence at the event as co-organizer and exhibitors to make this event an international platform for the dental fraternity.

About APDIA
The Asia Pacific Dental Industry Association (APDIA) is a collaborative alliance that originated when the MDIA invited NADTI and TDTA to join in 2017 and 2018, respectively. They signed the 1st Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Asia Pacific Trade Cooperation (APDTC) in 2019, and the 2nd MOU, including PERIGI, in 2021.
Officially formed on July 14, 2023 in Malaysia, APDIA aims to foster cooperation among dental industry associations in the ASEAN and Asia Pacific Regions. The association is governed by a dedicated Council Members with membership open to Asia Pacific countries. Currently its members comprise of Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia and Australia. Under the leadership of Ms. MA Lourdes Jimenez-Villaroman as first President, APDIA strives to drive innovation and collaboration for dental industry growth throughout the Asia Pacific region.
The Asia Pacific Dental Industry Association (APDIA) is dedicated to promoting the dental industry’s growth and innovation across the Asia Pacific region, provide bilateral support in continuous professional learning, cross border cooperation for harmonization of medical device regulation in the Asia Pacific region, supporters to members’ local activities & regional exchange visits.

The Taiwan Dental Traders Association (TDTA) represents the interests of Taiwan’s dental industry. TDTA being the member of APDIA has taken its first move to organize TWDS to drive industry growth in Taiwan and facilitate international collaborations.
