SINGAPORE, Dec. 19, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — As a key addition to its portfolio of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solutions, SmartFuture has launched a First Responder Platform. This is an integrated solution designed for rapid response through real time monitoring of health vitals, doctor consultation and timely action during emergency situations. The Platform consists of (a) a First Responder Kit consisting of connected medical devices, (b) a tablet-based application for use by the first responder staff and (c) a web portal for our emergency assistance provider partners.
The First Responder Medical Devices Kit consists of 8 connected medical devices along with convenient backpack, carry-bag, and box options. All the devices can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, cellular data, or Wi-Fi. The devices include stethoscope, ultrasound, 12-lead ECG monitor, otoscope, blood pressure monitor, blood glucose monitor, pulse oximeter and thermometer. The Platform is flexible and scalable, with an ability to add more connected medical devices as needed.
A Wi-Fi and cellular data enabled tablet device with a pre-loaded First Responder application are also provided for use by the first responder staff. The application helps capture health vitals of patients from the connected devices and sends that data via Wi-Fi or cellular data to the emergency assistance centre for immediate evaluation and response. The first responder can also connect with the emergency assistance centre via video call and conduct a real-time teleconsultation. There is also an option to add Augmented Reality (AR) glasses for a completely hands-free experience for the first responder.
The Platform also provides a web portal for the health care emergency assistance centre, where doctors can view patient’s readings, communicate via video call with the first responder, and recommend timely action steps.
The Platform enables doctors to make more informed decisions, improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the first response – helping save lives.
