IDEX Istanbul, the world’s second-largest dental sector gathering, hosted a remarkable 32,120 international visitors from 185 countries between May 8-11, 2024, shattering previous records with a trade volume exceeding 300 million dollars. The event also surpassed 90,000 total visitors, solidifying its status as a premier global dental industry exhibition.
IDEX Istanbul, renowned as one of the world’s largest dental industry gatherings, reached new heights by generating a trade volume of over 300 million dollars. The fair welcomed 32,120 international visitors, contributing to a total of 93,900 professional attendees. These impressive figures mark yet another milestone for the event, reinforcing its reputation as the most productive trade platform of the year.
The 19th edition of the Istanbul Dental Equipment and Materials Exhibition, IDEX Istanbul, attracted over 1,000 buying groups from more than 125 countries, including Europe, Africa, the Balkans, Gulf Countries, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Middle East.
A notable feature of IDEX Istanbul was the presence of international exhibitors. This year, 598 companies showcased their products, including 166 international exhibitors from 48 countries. With over 5,000 brands presenting their latest technological innovations, the event’s success in achieving visitor and trade records was evident.
The symposiums and courses at the fair garnered intense interest from attendees. Internationally renowned academics, both domestic and foreign, led discussions on the past, present, and future of the dental sector. Innovations and developments in oral and dental health were addressed through practical symposiums and course programs. Over four days, more than 80 training sessions were held in a 350-person symposium hall and four course halls, providing industry professionals and students with valuable insights.
Countdown to IDEX Istanbul 2025 Begins!
Looking ahead, IDEX Istanbul will celebrate its 20th year with a special vision for 2025. Organized by the Turkish Dental Businessmen Association (DİŞSİAD) and its subsidiary, DİŞSİAD Congress and Conference Limited Company, the IDEX Istanbul Dental Equipment and Materials Exhibition will once again unite the global dental sector at the Istanbul Expo Center from May 7-10, 2025. The upcoming event promises to be the largest and most significant gathering for the dental industry to date.
