Medtec Japan, now in its 15th year, is an event where suppliers in the medical device industry and researchers and developers from medical device manufacturers both in Japan and abroad come together. It has become a valuable place for gathering information and business discussions for companies and organizations planning to enter the medical field. Last year, the exhibition was attended by 441 companies and organizations, attracting over 14,500 visitors primarily from the industry.
With growing expectations for next-generation healthcare, such as medical electronics technology, care robots, and medical ICT, as part of the country’s growth strategy, we have once again received endorsement from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Additionally, this year we will introduce new areas of focus: “Medical Security” and “Medical Device Development DX”.
